Samp recover from Juve test. Training to resume 27 December

This morning Samp had their last training session before a Christmas break. The team did some work in the gym before a quick celebratory toast in the press room.

The players that were most involved in the last two games had treatment, physiotherapy and time in the swimming pool, depending on their needs. Edgar Barreto and Andrea Bertolacci are continuing their respective efforts to return to fitness, as are Bartosz Bereszynski and Federico Bonazzoli  who were out on the field.

After the session and a customary piece of panettone, Claudio Ranieri and his staff are allowing the players a period of rest up to 27 December, when the team will get back to work at the Mugnaini in the afternoon. The South American players in the squad will join up with their team-mates on 28 December.
