First session of 2020 with AC Milan on the horizon

The Blucerchiati were back at the training ground on Thursday for their first session of the new year ahead of Monday’s trip to AC Milan.

The coaching staff split the squad into two groups based on their positions for strength work in the gym and technical/tactical drills out on the pitch.

Bartosz Bereszynski and Federico Bonazzoli continued to train with the rest of the team and Fabio Depaoli, Albin Ekdal and Nicola Murru also joined in with the main group after following individual programmes prior to new year.

Andrea Bertolacci and Edgar Barreto pushed on with their recovery plans, which included work on the pitch.

Alex Ferrari rested as he waits to undergo surgery on his right knee while Omar Colley also sat out as a precautionary measure due to mild flu-like symptoms.

The team’s next training session is scheduled for Friday morning.
