Sassuolo prep continues, morning session and press conference on Friday

Claudio Ranieri’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Thursday morning for their third session of the week ahead of Sunday’s clash against Sassuolo.

The squad worked through a number of technique drills and tactical exercises, with Gaston Ramirez again fit enough to take part with his team-mates.

Jakub Jankto was feeling unwell so trained separately, while Fabio Depaoli continued working on his personal recovery plan and Alex Ferrari received physiotherapy.

Ranieri’s men will train again on Friday morning, with the boss set to hold his pre-match press conference at 13:00 CET.
