Team training suspended, new schedule to be released next week

Sampdoria gathered in Bogliasco on Wednesday morning for a meeting in response to the suspension of the Serie A season.

All of the players are in Genoa and must remain in the area, except for Alex Ferrari, who has been working on his post-surgery in Modena for some time. Team training is suspended for the foreseeable future, until a new schedule is decided next week.

A small group of coaching and medical staff will remain at the training ground to ensure that individual athletes can continue to receive treatment or complete individual work. As per the government decree, the training ground area will be shut to the public.
