In-house friendly to end the week

The Blucerchiati wrapped up another week’s work with a training match in Bogliasco on Saturday. Claudio Ranieri acted as referee for the 60-minute game which saw the orange team run out as 3-2 winners.

Manolo Gabbiadini opened the scoring for the plain tops but Gaston Ramirez and Antonino La Gumina turned it around for the oranges early in the second half. Gonzalo Maroni then levelled the scores from the spot before Mehdi Leris curled a free kick into the top corner to settle the contest.

The only two players not involved were Ronaldo Vieira, who worked in the gym as a precaution, and Alex Ferrari, who continued with his rehabilitation.

The team have now been given two days off and will return to the training ground on Tuesday afternoon.
