Ranieri names 25-man Sampdoria squad for Roma trip

Claudio Ranieri has named a 25-man squad for Sampdoria’s trip to face Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday in Week 27 of Serie A.

The announcement came after another training session for the Blucerchiati in Bogliasco, where the players less involved in the game against Inter warmed up before focusing on speed and tactics. Meanwhile, the rest of the available players worked through a recovery session.

Fabio Quagliarella and Gonzalo Maroni (bruised right ankle) had individual sessions, while Alex Ferrari continued working on his recovery plan.

Samp will have their final training session in Rome on Wednesday morning.

Below is the full squad for the clash.

Goalkeepers: Audero, Falcone, Seculin.

Defenders: Augello, Bereszynski, Chabot, Colley, Depaoli, Murru, Rocha, Tonelli, Yoshida.

Midfielders: Askildsen, Bertolacci, Ekdal, Jankto, Leris, Linetty, Thorsby, Vieira.

Forwards: Bonazzoli, D’Amico, Gabbiadini, La Gumina, Ramirez.
