Training resumes in two groups, afternoon session on Tuesday

Sampdoria were straight back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Monday morning after Sunday’s thrilling comeback win over Parma.

Those involved for all or most of the 3-2 victory at Parma had a recovery session, while the rest of the squad trained as normal, finishing with a minimatch.

Felice D’Amico was the only player not involved in the session after the injury he picked up on Saturday. Tests have revealed that the young Italian has sustained a micro-fracture to his right foot. He has already started his rehabilitation programme.

Samp will train again late on Tuesday afternoon.
