2020/21 season set to commence for Claudio Ranieri’s Sampdoria

The 2020/21 season is set to officially get underway for Claudio Ranieri and Sampdoria on Wednesday as the Blucerchiati undergo individual fitness tests before beginning training in small groups in the late afternoon.

Samp will kick off their pre-season preparations behind closed doors at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini, with an initial friendly set to take place against the Primavera side on Thursday 2 September. The rest of Doria’s pre-season friendlies will be announced in due course.

The club would like to remind all fans that, due to the measures in place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, no players or staff will be able to stop at the gates of the training ground for photos or autographs.
