24-man squad for season opener against Juventus

Claudio Ranieri announced his 24-man squad for the curtain-raiser on Sunday at the end of the final training session on pitch two at the Mugnaini in Bogliasco. The squad will head to Turin on the coach on Saturday evening after dinner for the clash with Juventus at the Allianz Stadium at 20:45 CEST on Sunday.

As well as the suspended duo of Kristoffer Askildsen and Antonio Palumbo, Mohamed Bahlouli, Vid Belec (specific gym work after suffering an inflammation in his right knee), Manolo Gabbiadini (regaining fitness through work on the pitch with and without the ball), Nik Prelec and Kaique Rocha will remain in Genoa.
