Samp back to work at a rainy Bogliasco

It was pouring with rain this morning as Sampdoria got back on the training pitch and commenced their preparations for the final game of 2020, against Sassuolo on Wednesday evening (kick off at 20:45 CET at the Ferraris). Those players most heavily involved in the win over Crotone yesterday had a recovery session, while the rest of the squad worked hard on pitch number 2.

Bartosz Bereszynski and Nik Prelec continued their work to regain match fitness, while Alex Ferrari underwent treatment and physiotherapy. In the coming days the latter will be assessed following the muscle injury in his right thigh, picked up in the last match. Manolo Gabbiadini is at home recovering after the inguinal hernia operation he underwent on Thursday. The Blucerchiati will train again tomorrow morning.
