Final session of 2020 for Doria, afternoon training on Friday

Sampdoria said goodbye to 2020 with a morning training session at a rainy Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Thursday.

Claudio Ranieri and his coaching staff led the players through a session based around possession drills and tactics.

Bartosz Bereszynski and Alex Ferrari had individual gym sessions, while Nik Prelec trained alone outside. Manolo Gabbiadini received treatment and physiotherapy.

Samp will be back at the training ground in the afternoon of New Year’s Day to continue preparing for the trip to face Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday (15:00 CET kick-off).
