First training session of the year for Doria, final prep on Saturday

Sampdoria were back in Bogliasco on New Year’s Day to continue their preparations for the trip to face Roma on Sunday.

Using the synthetic pitch at the Mugnaini, Samp kicked things off with a warm-up before getting stuck into rondos and a minimatch.

Bartosz Bereszynski had another test session with the group, while Alex Ferrari and Nik Prelec worked out in the gym. Manolo Gabbiadini received treatment and physio.

Samp will train again on Saturday morning before flying to Rome.
