Training resumes with Juve on the horizon

Sampdoria returned to training this morning for their first session ahead of their clash with Juventus on Saturday. Claudio Ranieri’s squad warmed up together and did some technical exercises on pitch 2, before being divided up according to their involvement in the last match at Parma. Those that featured most heavily did some fitness work in view of recovery, while the remainder – including Alex Ferrari – competed in some pressing-focused and themed training matches.

Lorenzo Tonelli continued his individual training programme, while Manolo Gabbiadini was out on the pitch working hard on his recovery. The squad will train again tomorrow morning.
