Samp continue Lazio preparations, departure for Rome on Friday morning

Claudio Ranieri’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Thursday to continue their preparations for Saturday’s clash against Lazio.

With the whole squad taking part, Ranieri led his players through a range of possession, technique and tactics drills during the morning session.

On Friday morning, the squad – together with president Massimo Ferrero – will depart for Rome, where they will have the honour of an audience with Pope Francis.

A final training session will take place on Friday afternoon, after which the squad list for the Lazio clash will be announced.
