23-man squad named for Sassuolo trip

The team wrapped up preparations for their game against Sassuolo with a morning session in Bogliasco on Friday.

Afterwards, Claudio Ranieri named a squad of 23 players for the trip to Reggio Emilia.

Bartosz Bereszynski and Albin Ekdal return to the squad but Fabio Quagliarella (thigh problem following a knock against Crotone on Wednesday), Gaston Ramirez (knee problem sustained in training on Sunday) and Ernesto Torregrossa (still working his way back to full fitness) will not be involved.

This is the full squad for Saturday’s 20:45 CEST kick-off at Mapei Stadium:

Goalkeepers: Audero, Letica, Ravaglia.

Defenders: Augello, Bereszynski, Colley, Ferrari, Regini, Rocha, Tonelli, Yoshida.

Midfielders: Askildsen, Candreva, Damsgaard, Ekdal, Jankto, Leris, Silva, Thorsby, Verre.

Forwards: Balde, Gabbiadini, La Gumina.
