Sampdoria to take on Verona in Pavia on 7 August

Sampdoria will take on Hellas Verona at the Stadio Fortunati in Pavia on Saturday 7 August, in a change to the Blucerchiati’s pre-season plans.

The match against Verona will kick off at 19:00 CEST.

Doria’s scheduled friendly clash with Spezia on Friday 30 July in Cles will no longer go ahead, with Roberto D’Aversa’s men instead playing an in-house practice game at the Temu training ground that day.

The friendly with Verona will be Samp’s final pre-season match ahead of their competitive debut in the Coppa Italia, where they will face the winner of Padova v Alessandria.
