Samp continue to train in groups, double session on Thursday

Sampdoria were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Wednesday to continue their preparations for the trip to face Sassuolo on Sunday.

Roberto D’Aversa and his coaching staff split the squad into two groups to work on strength and technique drills.

Manuel De Luca, Ernesto Torregrossa and Ronaldo Vieira continued working on their personalised recovery programmes in the pool and gym. Manolo Gabbiadini received treatment and physiotherapy.

Club president Massimo Ferrero was at the training ground.

At the end of the session, the Blucerchiati met with referee Matteo Marcenaro, who explained some of the differences in the way the laws of the game will be applied this season.

Samp have a double session scheduled for Thursday.
