Giampaolo calls for ‘bold’ display against AC Milan
Marco Giampaolo has urged his team to be bold when they host champions AC Milan at the Ferraris on Saturday, looking to quickly turn the page after defeat to Verona last time out.
“We lost the match in a 7-8 minute spell when we failed to manage the game, then in the second half we weren’t sharp enough,” the coach reflected during a media conference on Friday.
“That’s in the past now. The most important game is the next one and we’re up against a superb side – the best in the league at the moment.
“Milan have developed a strong sense of belief in their ability. They always look in control and when they draw it’s like a defeat because they’re so used to winning now. It will be very tough indeed. We’re going to have be bold.”
