Recovery work in Bogliasco. Next session on Wednesday morning

After flying back from Sardinia on Tuesday morning – the scheduled post-match charter flight was unable to depart Cagliari due to fog – the Blucerchiati headed straight for Bogliasco, where they did recovery exercises.

Federico Bonazzoli took part in some light fitness work for the first time since his injury while Edgar Barreto, Andrea Bertolacci and Fabio Depaoli had treatment. Bartosz Bereszynski is continuing his post-surgery rehabilitation programme in Poznan.

The squad will train on Wednesday morning and travel back to Sardinia on Thursday morning ahead of their Coppa Italia tie that evening.

There will be no pre-match news conference but Claudio Ranieri will speak to Sampdoria’s Official Media on Wednesday.
