Samp back on training pitch with session in two groups

Ahead of their first home game of the new season, against Benevento on Saturday, Sampdoria were back in training action in Bogliasco this morning.

The squad was divided into two groups on pitch 2 at the Mugnaini: those most heavily involved in the clash with Juventus focused on recovery work, while the remainder of the squad had a full training session.

The latter group included Vid Belec – training with coach Fabrizio Lorieri alongside Emil Audero, Lorenzo Avogadri and Nicola Ravaglia – and Manolo Gabbiadini, who returned for part of the session with his team-mates.

Tomorrow the team will have another morning training session.
