Samp remember Morandi Bridge tragedy in training
Sampdoria interrupted their Wednesday morning training session at 11:36 on the dot to hold a minute’s silence in tribute to the victims of the Morandi Bridge tragedy, a year to the day since the collapse.
For the session itself, Eusebio Di Francesco kicked things off with fitness before moving on to focus on technique drills and tactical exercises. The players rounded the session off with a minimatch.
The whole squad – including Gianluca Caprari, Albin Ekdal and Manolo Gabbiadini, who was training with his team-mates for the second time – were able to take full part in training.
Samp will train again on Thursday morning.
