Samp train at the Ferraris, afternoon session on Friday

Sampdoria trained at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Thursday morning ahead of their season debut on home soil against Benevento this Saturday evening.

Claudio Ranieri and his coaching staff held a meeting with the players in the video room before leading the squad through fitness drills, technique exercises and tactics. Fabio Depaoli and Manolo Gabbiadini were part of the group.

Nik Prelec and Kaique Rocha had recovery sessions after they turned out for the Primavera side yesterday.

Samp will be back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Friday afternoon to continue their preparations for the 18:00 CEST kick-off against Benevento.
