Training resumes ahead of Sassuolo clash as four internationals return

Samp were back in training at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Tuesday afternoon ahead of Monday’s visit of Sassuolo.

Four of the Blucerchiati’s international contingent – Emil Audero, Gianluca Caprari, Lorenzo Tonelli and Ronaldo Vieira – were back at the training ground. Audero and Vieira had recovery sessions, while the two Italians trained as normal.

The squad mainly focused on technique and fitness, with tactics-oriented practice games to finish.

Marco Giampaolo called up six Primavera players for the session: Mohamed Balouli, Leonardo Benedetti, Yassin Ejjaki, Simone Giordano, Daouda Peeters and Matteo Raspa.

Gabriele Rolando had a personalised session, while Vasco Regini had a rest day.

Samp will be back in training on Wednesday afternoon.
