Training resumes in groups, final session ahead of Sassuolo on Friday

Sampdoria were straight back to work in Bogliasco on Thursday following the 1-0 win over Crotone on Wednesday night.

Next up for the Blucerchiati is a trip to face Sassuolo at Mapei Stadium on Saturday.

Those involved against Crotone had a recovery session, while the rest of the squad headed out to Pitch 1 for a warm-up, technical drills and high-press practice games. Bartosz Bereszynski trained with this group.

Albin Ekdal trained with his team-mates for part of the session, while Gaston Ramirez trained alone and Ernesto Torregrossa continued working on his recovery plan.

Samp will have their final session ahead of the Sassuolo game on Friday morning, after which they will depart for Reggio Emilia.
