Group work in Bogliasco ahead of Palermo, double session on Thursday
Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back on the training ground on Tuesday afternoon after their late defeat to Cagliari on Monday night.
The Samp boss split his squad up into two groups, with those involved for all or most of the game in Sardinia working through a recovery session in the gym and pool. The rest of the players had a regular training session.
Carlos Carbonero, Jacopo Sala, Andrea Tozzo and Daniel Pavlovic continued working on their individual recovery plans.
Most of the squad will have the day off on Wednesday, with only those players needed in for individual work set to report to the Mugnaini.
The Blucerchiati will have a double training session on Thursday ahead of Sunday’s visit of Palermo.
