Double session at the Mugnaini as Sala and Tozzo return

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad took their preparations for Sunday’s visit of Palermo to the next level on Thursday with a double training session at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini.

In the morning session, the Blucerchiati were split up into groups to work through a series of exercises in the gym and technical drills outside.

The afternoon session saw Jacopo Sala return to full training and Andrea Tozzo link up with the goalkeeping group after their respective injury lay-offs.

Angelo Palombo and Emiliano Viviano had individual sessions, while Carlos Carbonero and Daniel Pavlovic continued working on their recovery plans.

Samp will train again on Friday afternoon.
