Football Data: number crunching ahead of Crotone v Samp

The leading Italian statistics agency on national and international football has provided some facts and figures on the match at the Stadio Ezio Scida tomorrow on Sunday afternoon.

Crotone are propping up Serie A after 13 games this season. The Calabrian side are one of three clubs who have won just once (along with Pescara and Palermo) and have also had the most defeats with ten.

Davide Nicola’s team has lost 14 points in the second halves of matches in 2016/17, squandering more wins and draws that any other team in the league.

Sampdoria have scored for eight games in a row, hitting the back of the net 11 times in total. The Blucerchiati last drew a blank in the 2-0 loss away against Bologna on 21 September.

Ante Budimir will be facing former colleagues tomorrow in Calabria: the Croatian striker starred in Crotone’s historic promotion to the top flight last season and scored 17 goals in 41 appearances for the Rossoblu.
