Doria resume training in two groups, Alvarez receives treatment

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad returned to the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Tuesday for their first session of the week.

The Blucerchiati were divided up into two groups, with those involved for most or all of the Cagliari match having a recovery session. The rest of the players trained as normal.

The only player not taking part was Ricky Alvarez, who received treatment and did some exercises in the pool.

The squad have a double session planned for Wednesday.
