Marco Giampaolo put his troops through another session in the afternoon, this time focusing mainly on technique and tactics.
Dawid Kownacki joined in with his new team-mates for the first time but Edgar Barreto was forced to sit out due to minor flu-like symptoms.
Ibourahima Balde had treatment after taking a knock to the knee in Saturday’s friendly against Sellero Novelle, Nicola Murru upped his workload in the gym and on the pitch as he continues his return to full fitness and Emiliano Viviano pushed on with his own recovery programme.
Another double session is planned for Tuesday.
