Double session plus video analysis as Fiorentina loom on the horizon

Marco Giampaolo worked his troops hard on Wednesday, putting them through a double session as preparations for their visit to Fiorentina begin to gather pace.

In the morning, after some fitness work the boss took the squad up to the top pitch in Bogliasco and split them into groups for attacking and defensive drills. Primavera youngsters Ibourahima Balde, Denis Baumgartner, Andrea Tessiore and Ivan Vujcic joined in today, together with Titas Krapikas and Maxime Leverbe.

After lunch the squad convened in the video room to watch some clips prepared with Sunday’s trip to Florence in mind.

The players then moved outside for a series of technical and tactics drills.

Meanwhile Dodo Pires continued his rehabilitation work.

The Blucerchiati will report back on Thursday afternoon for their next session.
