Cerezo pays Samp a visit on Saturday before the derby

The Blucerchiati were back at the training ground on Saturday morning to push on with preparations for the 117th Genoa derby.

The session began with a team talk followed by a warm-up, a training game and some tactical work.

President Massimo Ferrero, club lawyer Antonio Romei and sporting director Carlo Osti were all in attendance, while former Sampdoria star Toninho Cerezo also popped in to make a surprise visit.

Maxime Leverbe and Vasco Regini did some personalised work and joined in with the rest of the group for part of the session. Edgar Barreto had physio and trained separately.

The Blucerchiati will run through their final preparations for the game on Sunday.
