Friendly match in Bogliasco, morning session on Thursday

Claudio Ranieri’s Sampdoria squad were back at the training ground on Wednesday to continue their midweek preparations.

After warming up, the squad focused on possession drills before getting stuck into an 11-a-side friendly game. Edgar Barreto (gym) and Lorenzo Tonelli (individual session on Pitch 2) missed out, as did Karol Linetty and Gaston Ramirez who had tailored sessions instead of joining in with the game. Alex Ferrari’s post-surgery rehab continues.

Samp have another morning session on Thursday.
