Poli and Eder score under the snow, Chievo defeated 2-0
An
impenetrable defense and an almost infallible attack. A locked
midfield and a goalkeeper each day surer of his abilities. Add an
extremely pernickety technical staff and an ever-present public,
who supports the team with his chants, despite the unusual time and
the adverse weather conditions. That’s the perfect portrait of the
present Sampdoria: a real team, solid and concrete, a tight-knit
group, able to destroy the insidious Chievo in Marassi, during the
Sunday lunchtime match, played under the snow.
2-0.
Despite Delio Rossi’s absence, the blucerchiati of Fedele Limone score with Andrea Poli
in the first half, suffering (but without grieves) in the second and
hit with Eder Citadin Martins in the last part of the match, deservedly obtaining the
third consecutive home victory, the fifth consecutive positive result
and, above all, other three points, that are fundamental to reach the
salvation.
Protagonists.
«We want to continue doing well, repeating our last performances,
following the Mister and going on like this», says Poli after the
match. Eder, who replaced Mauro Icardi, forced to leave the pitch after a
painful kick to knee and thigh, agrees with him and adds: «We are a
very strong group, from the defense to the attack, everybody knows
what he has to do, and it makes everything easier».
